Thanks for taking the time to visit the website of Salford University Diving Society (SUDS)! At SUDS we offer YOU the opportunity to learn to dive and gain internationally recognised qualifications at a greatly reduced price! Learning to dive with SUDS is the cheapest way by far! Training starts with lectures at the Gilbert Rooms on Tuesday nights. After this we're off to the pool to start to learn the skills that you will need in open water! Once we have completed all of the pool lessons then the fun really starts! We teach people to dive in quarry's we do this as its a controlled environment so we can teach you all the skills you need while keeping you safe. After a couple of lessons in open water you've passed and will be awarded BSAC Ocean Diver certificate! This allows you to dive to 20m and as we said before it is internationally recognised. 
Don't worry if you've already learnt to dive (perhaps abroad). We offer cross over courses were after a quick assessment in the pool you start on the next step of your training, no need to repeat what you have already learnt. Once your qualified then we offer a range of trips, some of the recent trips have been to the sound of Mull, St Abbs, Northern Ireland, Malta, Egypt, Scapa Flow and Shetland! So why not give it a go? We meet every Tuesday night in the Gilbert Rooms, meetings start at 6.30pm. See you there
